About the artists :
Michael Rozenvain
Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Michael Rozenvain is a mixed-media artist based in Toronto, Canada. After studying at the Academy of Applied Arts of Lvov, he immigrated to Canada in 2006, where nature and wildlife became a central theme in his art.
His most recent works blend engraving and painting on stainless steel, where he carves and paints intricate wildlife portraits. By layering industrial materials such as oil paint, resin, and stainless steel, his artworks shimmer and shift depending on the viewer’s perspective, capturing the subtle movements of nature. His creations highlight the delicate relationship between humankind and the natural world.
Aleksandra Savina
Born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, Aleksandra Savina earned her fine arts diploma before emigrating to Toronto, Canada in 2006. Initially exploring cubic forms with impressionistic techniques, her work has evolved into an innovative use of plexiglass. By painting on multiple transparent layers, she creates dynamic cityscapes that change as the viewer moves, blending traditional brushwork with modern depth and perspective.
2Wild – Barak & Miri Rozenvain
Siblings Barak and Miri Rozenvain, known as 2Wild, are renowned for their fusion of wildlife, pop culture, and industrial materials. Inspired by both natural landscapes and urban influences, their mixed-media artworks incorporates resin, shattered glass, laser-cut plexiglass, and metal fabrication to create highly textured, three-dimensional compositions.
Their pieces often step beyond traditional rectangular formats, opting instead for intricately cut plexiglass canvases, where both sides are painted to achieve an extraordinary sense of depth. Their signature style reflects a vibrant celebration of life and nature, blending contemporary techniques with timeless themes.
Miri Rozenvain
A multimedia artist born in 1998, Miri Rozenvain gained recognition at an early age, exhibiting across North America while completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at York University in 2020. Her distinctive style is defined by spontaneous paint application, textural depth, and a rich, organic palette. She integrates sand, stones, and raw materials into her paintings, bringing them to life with movement and energy. Her mission is to capture the fragility and resilience of nature, ensuring each piece feels as if it is breathing on its own.
