Several years ago, as part of various training courses, Dan passionately experimented with several painting and sculpture techniques on various materials. Over the years, his research touched on several artistic styles, moving from abstract to realism. The artist also tested many mediums, techniques, forms of support, etc.
His recent works, painted in acrylic, are the product of his three great passions: painting, sports, and cinema. For him, the history of humanity is perfectly transposed through these three subjects. Our culture, he says, is what we have most precious as a society.
Each of his paintings represents a challenge to be met (proportion, balance of colors, balance of shapes, conveying the soul of the person painted, etc.). But with practice, patience, and passion, anything is possible. His creations are the result of pure and simple freedom of movement, observation, action-reaction, concentration, experimentation, techniques, and paint applications.
