Ryan Jester is a self-taught painter from downtown Toronto. He earned a commerce degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, but then explored his artistic side while attending the graphic design program at Humber College.
Cartoons were a great source of happiness in his childhood. He reinvents many characters in his own way. His style, " Abstract Cartoonism ", focuses on creating abstract, eye-catching and provocative visuals using bright colors, shapes and juxtapositions. He wants to provoke nostalgic emotions in his now adult audience, bringing them back to memories of Saturday morning cartoons. Its compelling visuals are bright, bold and fun - the optimism of youth.
