Silvia Sánchez was born in Argentina in 1956. After living and studying in Quebec, she returned to her native country and settled there permanently.

Today she is a student of the renowned painter Luis Lobo de la Vega. It is in the city of Tucuman, where she lives, that she creates most of her paintings. This environment, the people who live there as well as the “Yungas” tropical forest are great sources of inspiration for her.

Silvia Sánchez has participated in numerous exhibitions in Argentina.
