Diederik van Apple was born in 1985 in Leiden, the Netherlands, and grew up there. In childhood he always visualized the big picture. There was no line between fantasy and reality. He was addicted to Walt Disney books and legendary films like The Godfather, Scarface, Pulp Fiction and Boondock Saints. He loved to see the stories, read them, and get involved as if he were part of the play.
