Pierre Bouchard lives and works in Quebec City. He is initially known in the field of comics, animation, and illustration. He exhibited his first works in 2002 at the Rouje Gallery in Quebec City. He joined the Château Frontenac Gallery in 2014, the Iris Gallery in Baie-St-Paul in 2016, and the Beauchamp Gallery in 2018. His preferred themes revolve around nature. He created a collection of still lifes inspired by pop art, an inspiration he had upon returning from a trip to Haiti.
