Extraordinary records (ISBN : 9783836595001)
Vinyl visuals. When boldness took center stage on album covers.
This volume tells the extraordinary history of vinyl through more than 500 albums. From rare, colorful editions with daring graphic design to clandestine Soviet “roentgenizdat” discs etched onto discarded X-ray films, these covers—which shaped the identity of artists and the iconic records of their time—illustrate the artistic potential of vinyl as an object.
