Carole Breault is originally from Iberville, Quebec.

From her teenage years, Carole developed a passion for the visual arts. His interest in drawing and painting subsequently led him to enroll at CEGEP in arts and letters. In 2004, she decided to take private oil painting lessons in order to deepen her technique. Since that time, the artist has continued his studio work in a self-taught manner. Breault enjoys creating portraits of notable personalities from the musical and cinematographic fields with great attention to detail.

Carole Breault, a fervent admirer of monochrome painting, draws inspiration from old photographs to create her black and white portraits. She chose to work with this limited color palette, first of all for respect for the period, but also for the sobriety and simplicity that emanate from it and thus leave plenty of room for the subject.
