The exhibition "The Object of Fullness and Emptiness" is an ode to poetry, where the assembly of everyday objects becomes the elements of a captivating visual language. Each assembled object has an evocative power. For this new collection, Rémi Bergeron has deepened his work on the human figure. The objects are increasingly fused and shaped to harmonize more with the form of the figures. Collectors will have the privilege of discovering more than fifteen new pieces, ranging from delicate small sculptures to monumental works reaching six feet tall.
This collection of works is part of an essential creative process for Rémi Bergeron, who feels the need to present his sculptures together, in the same space and at the same time. When gathered in this way, his works begin a dialogue, creating an immersive dynamic that plunges the visitor into a universe where each character communicates with the others, much like a play of fascinating characters.
"Like a poet who assembles words, I assemble objects to create characters with a certain poetry. Sculpture is the result of the evocation of the objects that compose them."

About Rémi Bergeron
Having worked for many years in theater as a props master and set designer, it is evident that Rémi Bergeron’s previous experiences have significantly influenced his current artistic process.
Objects have fascinated the artist for several years. It is through his sculptures that he attempts to explore this fascination. On the one hand, his works explore the possibilities offered by combining different materials. On the other hand, his work focuses on the object itself, that is, its form, structure, and history. Bergeron enjoys observing, taming, and respecting it in its entirety. Often, the artist uses the object as it is: with its patina, peculiarities, and imperfections.
The sculptor constantly questions the predefined role of objects, always seeking to give them new meanings. In a way, his work is akin to that of a poet who uses words to give them another meaning, another direction. This way of seeing objects differently has always been a source of inspiration and the starting point of his artistic work.
Bergeron’s sculptures often come to life in the form of characters, animals, or other whimsical subjects. His works exude softness and sensuality. Sometimes enigmatic, sometimes unusual, these fine characters, both imbued with history and poetry, move through space; they come to life.
