Who is Richard Orlinski?

Richard Orlinski is a French contemporary artist renowned for his iconic sculptures and his "Born Wild" style. His works, often created in resin or lacquered metal, explore themes such as nature, animals, and inner strength, combining elegance and power.

What is the Spirit series?

The Spirit series, which includes smaller sculptures, is particularly popular for its accessibility and distinctive aesthetic.

These sculptures capture the energy of his larger works but in a more compact and affordable format, designed to reach a broader audience. They remain true to Orlinski's approach: bold, colourful pieces with strong visual impact.

A piece from the Spirit series is typically introduced annually as an open edition, but only for a limited time. We have some of the most popular pieces from the Spirit series available.

Where does the Born Wild movement come from?

The Born Wild concept is an original creation by French artist Richard Orlinski. In 2004, he presented his first sculpture, a red resin crocodile titled Born Wild©, at the Deauville American Film Festival. This iconic work immediately gained attention and marked the beginning of his Born Wild series, where he explores the duality between untamed nature and human civilization. The Born Wild style did not exist before Richard Orlinski; it is an artistic approach he developed to express his vision of transforming primal instincts into positive emotions, elevating the wild essence of nature through contemporary sculptures.
